An Elegant and Glamorous White Wedding at 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge in New York City
Ariel Feldberg and Spencer Jennings translated their personal tastes into a modern, elegant, all-white wedding at 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge. The couple had a first look on the rooftop, which overlooked the New York City skyline, before marrying in an elegant ceremony inside the hotel. They stood beneath a large, enchanting chuppah full of greenery and white flowers, and they read their own vows. After visiting a glamorous escort card display, guests entered the ballroom for a stunning reception. Ariel and Spencer transformed the space to emulate the feeling of being outside under the stars. Twinkling string lights hung above two types of tables: farm tables and round tables. "The wooden farm tables had tall structures built over them with hanging florals, and they were decorated with flowers and candles on the runner of the table," Ariel says. "We wanted every round table to look different, so some had high centerpieces that were filled with cherry blossom branches and hanging candles, and others had arrangements of hydrangeas, tulips, peonies and roses." Ariel wore a form-fitting gown with embroidered appliqué details and a low back with white satin-covered buttons. She styled the dress three different ways throughout the day: with removable off-the-shoulder cap sleeves during the first look and photos, with a fitted V-neck long sleeve overlay jacket during the ceremony and strapless for the reception. She carried a bouquet of white peonies and accessorized with a long veil. Spencer sported a custom navy tuxedo with a black shawl collar, while the bridesmaids wore long mismatched white dresses.
