An Elegant Barn Wedding at IronGate Equestrian Center in Hartford, Ohio

From the flowers to wedding party attire and decorations, every detail embodied a clean look at this elegant wedding—exactly what Jenna Black and Tyle

From the flowers to wedding party attire and decorations, every detail embodied a clean look at this elegant wedding—exactly what Jenna Black and Tyler Joseph had envisioned for their nuptials at IronGate Equestrian Center in Hartford, Ohio. They didn't pick a specific palette for the day, but rather used white and neutral colors to bring their wedding to life inside the barn. Jenna wore her hair up in a gorgeous wavy style inspired by the 1940s, with small white blooms woven into her hair—blending well with her gorgeous white dress with an illusion sweetheart neckline, designed by Jenna herself. Tyler's facial expression said it all when seeing Jenna for the first time on the wedding day, waiting for her in a black suit with a black tie—a classic look for the classic occasion. Jenna and Tyler shared their first kiss in front of a white linen backdrop, with strings of lightbulbs twinkling overhead. The room flipped for the reception, with white-covered dining tables decorated with tall and short arrangements of baby's breath that Jenna and her bridesmaids made days before the wedding. In our opinion, they truly saved the best for last with a four-tier round cake covered in buttercream icing and filled with different flavors—ranging from red velvet to chocolate peanut butter. See all the other simple and clean details that made up this stunning barn wedding, below.

Jenna held on to a white bouquet overflowing with hydrangeas and orchids, going along with the clean look of the wedding day. And the elegant arrangement matched Jenna's white dress perfectly.
"I was looking for a very elegant and classy look, like a vintage wavy updo from the '40s," Jenna says. "We added flowers to create a woven hair effect too."
Jenna put together the design of the cake, and their family friend Hannah Koeller brought the idea to life. The four-tier white cake was covered with buttercream frosting and filled with various flavors: butter pecan cake with cream cheese filling, red velvet cake with butter pecan filling, chocolate peanut butter cake with chocolate chip filling and butter pecan cake with buttercream filling.
Jenna picked out the same one-shoulder champagne-colored dress for all the bridesmaids, making the process of selecting the gowns easier. "The champagne color of the bridesmaid dresses were perfect for elegance, and the long length was perfect for comfort," Jenna says. "Their dresses complemented the theme of class and elegance."
Jenna wore a pair of Von Maur champagne-colored heels with open toes. The heels had sparkles decorating the surface, lined with rhinestones on the front.
"Jenna's dress is slightly a hybrid between an A-line silhouette that flares out from the waist and a sheath, because the skirt didn't have any poof," Kendra Barnes of Kendra Christine says. "Her dress had an ivory off-the-shoulder overlay on top of a white bodice with a sweetheart neckline."
Tyler had an emotional reaction when first seeing Jenna on their wedding day, wearing a gorgeous custom-made white dress with a lace neckline and sleeves that added a romantic touch.
Both the ceremony and reception took place inside the white and green barn at IronGate Equestrian Center in Hartford, Ohio. Jenna and Tyler had the first wedding at the venue, making the occasion even more special.
At the ceremony, white folding chairs organized into rows had bushels of baby's breath lining the aisle. These arrangements matched the other baby's breath-based bouquets and centerpieces that decorated the day.
Jenna and Tyler shared their first kiss in front of the backdrop draped with white linens, under strings of twinkling lightbulbs. Two pillars holding up tall baby's breath arrangements stood on each side of them.
Jenna and Tyler walked up the aisle after their ceremony concluded. Tyler sported a custom-made slim-fit black suit and tie, embodying a formal and classic look.
Tyler had a single white orchid pinned to the lapel of his black suit jacket, matching Jenna's bouquet of white hydrangeas and orchids. Tyler's arrangement stood out from the groomsmen's boutonnieres, which consisted of green succulent boutonnieres.
Jenna, Tyler and their wedding party stood outside at the IronGate Equestrian Center in Hartford, Ohio. The bridesmaids embodied elegance and class through one-shoulder champagne-colored dresses, while the groomsmen wore black tuxedos to match Tyler's black suit.
Jenna designed her white wedding dress with the help of bridal designer Kendra Christine—a gorgeous off-the-shoulder gown accented in lace, blending in with the illusion sweetheart neckline.
After the beautiful ceremony, the indoor main barn on the property flipped for the reception—thanks to the help of Lauren Ryan Events. Round dining tables filled the space, covered in white linens and decorated with baby's breath centerpieces.
Round dining tables covered in white linens embodied a clean, classic look that Jenna and Tyler had envisioned for their wedding. The tables had centerpieces of short and tall baby's breath arrangements, resembling the bouquets held by Jenna and her bridesmaids.
The bridesmaids dressed in champagne-colored dresses and surrounded Jenna in her white dress, all of them holding their lush bouquets filled with white hydrangeas and baby's breath.
White and green hydrangeas, pink roses and yellow button mums filled small glass vases, positioned on top of mirror platforms that decorated the middle of dining tables at the reception at IronGate Equestrian Center in Hartford, Ohio.
A variety of chocolate-based desserts drizzled in sweet sauces satisfied every sweet tooth at the reception (if the wedding cake didn't already!) This treat contributed to the overall dessert table, filled with sweets and treats made by friends and family.
Tables covered in white and gold shimmery linens displayed a wide range of desserts made by friends and family at the reception, with strings of lightbulbs dangling above.
Jenna and Tyler cut their cake covered in white icing and filled with a variety of delicious flavors! Beaded icing rimmed the bottom of each layer, with one tier shaped like a hexagon that added a distinct look to the classic dessert.
