Elizabeth Caughlin (31 and a health care consultant) and Michael Terroni (30 and in sales and marketing) were not so keen on the idea of a country club wedding. But when they visited Greenville Country Club in Wilmington, Delaware, they quickly changed their minds. "We almost passed it up based on the fact that it was technically a country club," Beth says. "As soon as we pulled up and walked inside, we knew we wanted the venue." Originally a home on the duPont estate, the country club is on a hill surrounded by trees. The reception was held on the brick patio, covered by a tent overhang. The scene was set with whimsical bistro lights overhead and lanterns with deep greens, votive candles and tealights throughout. "We wanted the theme to be simple and classic with a bit of whimsical charm, so we tied in lots of fresh greens and soft colors such as pale peach and cream to complement the vintage characteristics of our venue," Beth says. —Allie Volpe

Beth wore an ivory, strapless Jim Hjelm gown with a lace and organza ruched sweetheart neckline bodice and an organza modifed A-line skirt with a chapel-length train and a jeweled belt.
Beth's nine bridesmaids wore peach floor-length Amsale dresses in alternating styles based on each woman's preference.
A bagpiper preceded Beth and her father down the aisle. The aisle was decorated with small bouquets of white hydrangeas.
The ceremony was held at St. Joseph on the Brandywine, an 1841 church in Greenville, Delaware.
The reception was held on a tented brick porch at Greenville Country Club. Bistro lights were strung from the ceiling. Tables were covered in white tablecloths and featured lantern centerpieces.
Reception centerpieces featured vintage pewter lanterns surrounded by a ring of greens and peonies with peach berries and votive candles.
Mike's father organized a cigar bar with a cigar box and cigars that had been in the family for years, vintage photos of his family members smoking cigars and his cigar cutter. "It was a great addition for the guests offering a touch of nostalgia," Beth says.
Elizabeth and Mike's cake was a three-tier ivory cake accented with fresh olive branch greens and peonies. Mantels throughout the reception were decorated with dark green garlands with peach berries.
