Morgan Hayley (26 and an administrator) and Nicole Dube (28 and an administrator) held their wedding in the mountains of Banff, Alberta. In order to enjoy the beauty of their location, the couple held an outdoor ceremony on a dock on Vermillion Lakes. The reception was held at the Fairmont Banff Springs hotel, which is nestled in the mountains. "We booked this hotel because it's like a castle and it's just breathtaking," Morgan says. The couple kept their wedding simple and elegant, with decorations like cork name tags, chalkboard chair signs, paper hearts scattered across the tables and a wish tree made by the couple. "We put ourselves into this entire wedding, having most of the items handmade. With our wedding so small and personal, it was exactly what Nicole and I wanted," Morgan says. "Nicole and I had so much fun shopping for two wedding dresses," Morgan says. The brides wanted their dresses to pair well together—Nicole wore a simple strapless gown, and Morgan wore a vintage lace halter dress.

The couple made a lovely wish tree, and invited guests to write messages on the light brown gifts tags and tie them to the tree.
In lieu of a traditional wedding cake, a friend baked vegan Oreo cookie and lime margarita cupcakes—yum!
Small chalkboard signs that said "Mrs." hung off the back of Nicole and Morgan's chairs at the reception.
The table numbers were tucked next to artificial sparrows. Light brown paper hearts scattered across the tabletop completed the whimsical centerpiece decor.
