An Elegant Elopement at Park Avenue in New York City, New York

For their “I dos,” Nana Chang and Jeremy Shaw planned an intimate elopement in New York City with a handful of their closest family and friends.

The day kicked off with a stroll through Brooklyn, where the couple posed for pictures against the iconic Manhattan skyline. The pair then joined their guests at the New York Supreme Court, where they were married by a close friend of Jeremy’s father. The historic space exuded old-world glamour with its striking domed ceiling, stained glass windows, marble accents and gold leaf detailing.
Following the ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests headed to Park Avenue, a chic spot on the Upper East Side, for a lunch reception. Boasting eye-catching contemporary décor, the space needed little in the way of extras. Distressed wood and air plant centerpieces topped the tables’ crisp white linens while string lights twinkled overhead.

As a thank you for sharing in their celebration, Nana and Jeremy treated their friends and family to gift bags filled with homemade granola and macarons.

“Take the time on the actual wedding day to enjoy everything, whether it is a big wedding or a small gathering like ours,” Nana says.
