An Elegant, Ethereal Wedding at Murray Hill Events in Leesburg, Virginia

rn Without a theme in mind for their spring wedding, Llorin Edwards (37 and a social worker) and Matthew Hunt (34 and a lawyer) let their day come together naturally. "We wanted the natural beauty of the property at Murray Hill Events to be the highlight of the day," Llorin says. "We ended up with a color scheme of gold, pink and light green just by picking out things we liked. It all just kind of came together." Llorin and Matthew chose Murray Hill Events, in Leesburg, Virginia, for both the ceremony and reception so that they could house all the day's events in the same place. "We chose to have the outdoor ceremony on the lawn overlooking the Potomac River, but at the last minute there was a big thunderstorm, and we had to have all the guests gather in the stone mansion next to the river," Llorin says. After the ceremony the couple and their 90 guests made their way to the property's old llama barn for dinner and dancing. "We knew we wanted some good and simple barbecue to eat, so we had a barbecue buffet of pulled chicken and brisket," Llorin says. "It was delicious." —Meghan Overdeep
