Alexandria Pearce (27 and a nurse) and Brennan Hill (27 and works in sales) planned a preppy, nautical affair for their wedding at Chatham Bars Inn in Chatham, MA. Looking to the wedding’s waterfront locale for inspiration, the couple opted for a navy, blue, green and cream color palette and lots of seaside-inspired touches like starfish escort cards and cake topper, plus an anchor motif that introduced a hint of nautical flair to both the beachy wedding cake and guest book table. The ceremony fused classic elegance with preppy, nautical chic, with the bridesmaids donning long chiffon gowns and the groomsmen sporting khaki trousers with navy jackets. Lush hydrangeas, blue thistles, eucalyptus and an assortment of unique non-floral accents added a fresh touch to the aisles without detracting from the breathtaking setting. The reception didn’t disappoint when it came to the views, offering guests a taste of the quintessential Cape Cod scenery as the sun set over the water. Blue table runners channeled the waterfront setting, while lush non-floral centerpieces introduced a unique touch to the tabletops.

Classic elegance guided Alexandria's wedding dress decisions. She selected a strapless satin gown in a mermaid silhouette with a draped bodice, sweetheart neckline and bow-embellished skirt.
Following tradition, Alexandria added a fingertip-length blusher veil to her elegant updo for the ceremony.
Inspired by the wedding's preppy, nautical feel, Brennan had his groomsmen don khaki trousers, white button-down shirts, sage colored ties and brown dress shoes.
Brennan and his groomsmen added white rose and blue thistle boutonnieres to their navy suit jackets for a polished finish.

Instead of airy tulle dresses, Alexandria selected ivory lace dresses with long sleeves that the flower girls would easily be able to wear again.
The ring bearers looked smart in their matching ensembles, the combination of khaki trousers, white button-down shirts, bowties and suspenders complementing the wedding's preppy vibe.
For a cohesive, elegant look, Alexandria had her bridesmaids wear the same navy, chiffon gown in an one-shoulder A.-Line silhouette.
