For their wedding, Katie and James wanted their day to be a reflection of what they love most about spending time with their family and friends -- good food and great conversation. With the help of the pros at Brooke Keegan Wedding & Events and Mindy Rice Floral & Event Design , they transformed the Montage Beverly Hills into an intimate country-inspired escape with bright florals, seasonal fruits and rustic and organic touches.

Blackberries added a unique touch to the vibrant cocktail hour centerpieces.
We wanted our wedding reception to be a reflection of a feeling rather than a look and this feeling was inspiration for the entire evening, says Katie. We wanted it to feel like an earthy, casual yet well-styled family event with seasonal and farm to table aspects.
French-inspired linen cloths capped the tables, leaving the wooden-turned legs exposed for a rustic, country look.
Family and friends toasted to the newlyweds.
The flower girls brightened up their look with pink ranunculus flower crowns and bouquets.
Katie and Jamie dressed up their cocktail hour with custom monogrammed pillows to add a more personal element to the evening. This monogram was introduced with our formal wedding invitation and we used it as way to seamlessly tie together various aspects of our wedding, says Katie.
Ranunculuses, garden roses and astilbe in various shades of pink filled the bridesmaids' bouquets. The bright bouquets popped against the muted shades of their gowns.
We wanted our wedding menu to reflect our favorite foods and offer our guests a variety of fresh, local ingredients with a 3-course meal that included an appetizer, salad and entrée course, says Katie. The couple served up an array of inspired hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour including tuna tartare in sesame cones, crostini with fig marmalade and goat cheese, truffled mac & cheese and miniature crab cakes.
Cocktail hour took place on the Montage Terrace. The couple created a series of lounge vignettes and low cocktail and coffe tables for a bistro like feel.
Katie's bridal bouquet was filled with soft pink and ivory flowers accented by wild greenery and berries for a rustic, romantic look.
The couple incorporated their custom monogram throughout the day, from the elegant formal invitations to the ceremony programs and napkins at cocktail hour.
In the center of the escort card table was a large stone urn filled with a wild assortment of ferns, kale, roses and vines.
Rustic wood boxes filled with fresh fruits and vegetables added a bright pop of color to the tablescapes.
I wanted a dress that was feminine, elegant and vibrant, says Katie of her bridesmaids style. I chose a full-length strapless chiffon gown in celadon with a pleated skirt and muted sequin belt from the Dessy Collection. I gifted each girl with a pair of siyabona gold chalcedony chandelier earrings from Alexis Bittar that looked stunning. They were a vision!
I have always loved my own mother’s wedding invitations and I wanted my wedding invitation to be an updated version of this classic style, says Katie. We created a formal engraved invitation with a modern twist by incorporating a wedding monogram band that was used to hold our wedding invitation together and it became a way to seamlessly tie various aspects of our wedding together.
The names of each guest were hand-calligraphed on each escort card in sage green ink.
The five tier wedding cake was a combination of Katie and James's favorite flavors -- funfetti with vanilla buttercream and carrot cake with cream cheese mousse.
Katie and James opted for a traditional ceremony at the St. Monica Catholic Church.
The reception centerpieces had a vibrant earthy vibe, with a bright mix of pink roses, peonies and flowers accented with seasonal fruits, berries and vegetables.
Charcuterie boards piled high with cheeses, meats and fruits were placed at each table to create a family style dining experience.
