An Elegant, Rustic Wedding at HammerSky Vineyard in Paso Robles, California
Brianna Maxson (26 and a meeting planner) and Kyle Spraker (28 and an account executive) wanted their vineyard wedding to have an elegant, rustic feel, so they stuck to a neutral color palette with touches of burlap and dark wood. Splashes of yellow, Brianna's favorite color, were added to the flowers, but everything else carried the neutral tone, from the beige bridesmaid dresses to the groomsmen's brown suits. Tiny accents like wine barrel cocktail tables and cork card holders complemented their vineyard setting.
The couple poured their hearts into their unique ceremony, which they wrote and planned together. "We played Motown music for both the processional and the recessional to keep the ceremony lighthearted and joyful," Brianna says. Brianna walked down the aisle to the couple's favorite Motown song, "My Girl," by The Temptations. And for the actual ceremony, close family and friends shared their thoughts, memories and wishes for the couple into one complete narrative. "Everything written by our family and friends was so touching, and it really helped to make the ceremony intimate, personal and reflective of us as a couple," Brianna says.
