An Elegant, Rustic Wedding at the Arbors Events in Cleveland, North Carolina

Ashley Sos (27 and a middle school teacher) and Brandon Wall (29 and a regional sales manager) met at the Advanced Auto Parts where he was working when she was looking for new windshield wipers for her car. After he graciously offered to install them for her, he asked for her phone number. Ashley was in a relationship at the time, so they went their separate ways. A few months later—and with her relationship behind her—they reconnected at a common friend's good-bye party.  Ashley was thrilled when they came across the Arbors Events in Cleveland, North Carolina, for their wedding day. "Most locations around Charlotte are either very traditional hotel venues, modern spaces that didn't exactly complement my 'Alaskan Grown' future husband or barns that were too country for our taste," she says. "The Arbors was perfect—it had a rustic cabin feel that was still elegant enough to impress my northern New Jersey family. It really just fit us." From there they settled on plum as their main color for their polished, rustic affair, based on how it looked with the venue's green grass. —Meghan Overdeep
