A romantic vineyard served as the perfect backdrop for Lindsey and Clay’s elegant, rustic wedding. Between overflowing florals, antique furniture and cascading ribbons decorating the wedding, the affair was both chic and unique.

The bride’s overgrown bouquet brought color to the otherwise neutral event. We used neutral colors throughout the wedding, and added color with the flowers that were in the bouquets and on the tables, Lindsey says.
“I wanted clean vintage items mixed with more modern pieces to keep our wedding from looking too rustic,” Lindsey says of her wedding decor.
Clay wore a classic tuxedo to complement the elegant style of the wedding. A peach and lavender boutonniere added a hint of color to his ensemble.
Cupcakes in an assortment of flavors were set out on an eclectic collection of vintage-inspired cake stands.
Some of the flower arrangements were overflowing with blooms, while others had just a few flowers, like this pot with just a few daisies.
Guests found their seats by finding their name on an elegantly calligraphed seating chart displayed on a vintage easel.
“My favorite moment of the day was reading our personal vows to each other,” the bird essays. “Also, seeing how all of the details of planning for six months came together so perfectly and got accomplished exactly how I wanted.”
Vintage furniture and decor was the perfect solution to achieving Lindsey’s vision of rustic and elegant.
With the exception of flowers, all the decor during the reception, from the linens to the menu cards, were kept neutral to achieve a timeless look.
Each guest took home a ivory candle—a simple and beautiful yet practical favor.
The bride’s A-line gown looked romantic, modern and vintage simultaneously, making it a complementary addition to the wedding style.
Lindsey’s bridesmaids wore long, neutral dresses with a navy ribbon tied around the wait.
All of the bouquets were wrapped with long, soft-colored ribbons, which looked elegant blowing in the wind.
Lindsey and Clay seamlessly meshed vintage details with their vineyard setting with antique furniture.
Overgrown floral centerpieces, classic calligraphed table numbers and a makeshift table runner of eucalyptus leaves perfectly fit the vineyard venue.
In addition to cupcakes, the couple wanted a naked chocolate cake for cutting, which was decorated with roses and ranunculuses.
Cascading ribbons were a subtle design motif in the wedding, as they were included in the ceremony decor and several flower arrangements.
