An Enchanting Winter Wedding at Mansions on Fifth Hotel in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Kelsey Ramsdell (27 and a paralegal) and Steven Redhead (27 and a financial analyst) had an elegant wedding inspired by the Christmas season. Decorations at their mid-December event at Mansions on Fifth Hotel took note from the large Christmas tree in the historic venue's Grand Hall. Garlands of pine wrapped around the banister on the staircase where Kelsey and Steven were married. The mantel in the dining room had similar pine leaves and pinecone accents, along with ivory roses and mercury-glass votive candleholders. And centerpieces of white ranunculus and seeded eucalyptus on the reception tables were elegant takes on traditional Christmas flower arrangements. Beyond that, the mansion didn't need much decorating. The staircase in the Grand Hall where Kelsey and Steven had their ceremony had beautiful stained-glass windows, which they used as their backdrop. The ornate wood-paneled dining room had intricate ceiling details and vintage crystal chandeliers. To fit in with the decorative antique details, Kelsey and Steven kept their color palette simple, with black and white serving as their main colors. Their reception tables were covered in white linens with gold napkins as accents, and arranged alongside black chiavari chairs. The wedding-party look was similarly classic, with the groomsmen in black tuxedos and the bridesmaids in long, black dresses. Kelsey wore a beautiful trumpet-style lace wedding dress and her mother's layered chapel veil, and Steven matched her with a white vest and tie with his tuxedo.
