An Industrial Boho Wedding at Hickory Street Annex in Dallas, Texas
Industrial, rustic and natural were the three themes that Jackie Davis (27 and a hairstylist) and Trevor Reidy (30 and a project manager) had in mind for their wedding style. Hickory Street Annex in Dallas, Texas, was the only place they looked, and they knew right away the exposed brick and metal building was it. Hickory Street's month-of coordinator, Amanda Taylor, helped Jackie and Trevor bring the outdoors in for a laid-back brunch wedding with a pastel, spring palette. The morning began with a short and sweet ceremony, where Jackie and Trevor said “I do” to the sounds of Serenata Strings’s guitar and violin in the backdrop. The music continued during cocktail hour, where guests enjoyed Bloody Marys and mimosas. A Southern brunch followed, with a hearty menu that included chicken and waffles along with biscuits and gravy and a rousing performance by eight-piece band Big T and the Bada Bings. The flowers stood out as one of the prettiest parts of the day: The florists at Bows and Arrows went over the top, creating loose, hand-tied bouquets and flower crowns for Jackie and her matron of honor that looked like they had been swept up from a garden and covered the tables, ceremony backdrop greenery and wildflowers. At the end of the celebration, Jackie and Trevor gave their guests custom pouches of coffee and hopped into a vintage Bentley, but not before Jackie surprised Trevor with one of his favorite things: a bagpipe.
