Bernice Radle (27), met her future husband, Jason Wilson (27) doing what they both love—advocating for historic buildings. Together they own Buffalove Development, a business that buys and rehabilitates vacant buildings in the city of Buffalo. They even have their own series, "American Rehab" premiering soon on HGTV network! So, it's really no surprise that two die-hard, Buffalo-loving preservationists chose to marry where they did—a cluster of old grain elevators on the Buffalo River called "Silo City." In fact, the were the first couple to ever get married there. With a quintessentially "Buffalo" backdrop of Silo City, Bernice and Jason pulled off their easy-going "Buffa-love" themed wedding with the help of their favorite local businesses—from food trucks to bridal boutiques. A sorbet-inspired color palette of tangerine, orange, pink, yellow and teal popped against the decaying venue and lent the day an air of carefree whimsy. The best part? Before the ceremony, the mayor of Buffalo surprised them with a statement and certificate declaring July 5th the official "Bernice and Jason Day" to thank them for all of their work to bring Buffalo back to life.

Bernice wore a one-of-a-kind tea cup style dress handmade by Made by Anatomy, a local bridal shop. The vintage-inspired dress was made of heavy floral fabric with a boat neck swiss dot sweetheart top to it. "The fabric reminded me of wall paper—I just loved it," she says.

Bernice and Jason's sorbet color palette was more than evident in the bridesmaid dresses. Each woman chose a knee-length dress in a different pastel color.
The ring bearers announced the bride with a DIY wooden sign that said "here comes the bride."
"We had a true 'Buffalo' style wedding—industrial chic style with Buffa-love everywhere!"says Bernice. The outdoor wedding ceremony took place alongside the Buffalo River surrounded by a cluster of incredible old grain elevators called "Silo City" which recently because an event venue. "They'd actually never had a wedding there, but we knew we had to be the first!" she adds.
