The natural grounds and historic estate at Liriodendron Mansion in Baltimore, Maryland, won over Sicilia Renee Baldwin (29 and a special education teacher) and Samuel Weaks III (33 and a correctional officer) for their classic, intimate wedding. The Georgian-style mansion embodied a Southern charm that Sicilia and Samuel imagined for their nuptials, serving as a gorgeous backdrop throughout their outdoor celebration. Different shades of white, ranging from cream to champagne, decorated the day, plus pops of blue-green that mostly came from the one-shoulder bridesmaid dresses. Sicilia held a simple round bouquet filled with white hydrangeas, while her girls held baby's breath for their arrangements—two of Sicilia's favorite flowers. The day began at the outdoor ceremony, where Sicilia walked down the aisle wearing her classic white dress embroidered in sequins and lace. Sicilia shimmered even more than before when she finally took a seat at the sweetheart table, dressed in gold sequin linens and set with gold dinnerware. Guests sat at their assigned dining tables positioned under a canopy of tree branches, creating an intimate feel that followed the theme. We absolutely loved the classic white wedding cake propped on top of a mint green stand, with bunches of green hydrangeas underneath—embodying the style and colors that Sicilia and Samuel specifically picked to reflect their own personalities. "Although we both have followed our share of trends, we are quite simple and classic, with old-school roots," Sicilia says. See more of these classic details from this intimate wedding, below.
