An Intimate Forest Wedding at Santa Lucia Preserve in Carmel-By-The-Sea, California

In search of an intimate, rustic wedding, Larissa Cleveland (31 and a photographer) and Timothy Koenig (31 and a technical product manager) exchanged vows in a dreamy redwood grove and celebrated in a nearby ranch house. “The untouched natural beauty and wildlife made quite an impression on me,” Larissa says of first seeing the ceremony spot while photographing a wedding for work. With about two dozen guests, the couple said “I do” among a “cathedral” of trees and dined at a long table fit for a whimsical forest tale. “We were blown away by the stunning floral chandelier and artistic centerpieces,” she says. “I loved the romance.”
