Living in San Francisco, Cybil Wallace (39 and an editorial director) and Ali Faiz (32 and a software developer) knew they wanted a local, small wedding. "We thought wine country filled the bill and that our guests wouldn't mind spending Valentine's Day weekend in Sonoma," Cybil says. As for a theme? "We actually joked that our theme was 'wedding,' " Cybil says. "We hired smart people to make a lot of the choices for us. I didn't want to drive myself insane with all the ins and outs of the event. I wanted to focus on being in the moment." Cybil and Ali took the same laid-back approach to most of the day's details, including the flowers, and let the vibe of their Victorian venue inform most of their decor decisions. Cybil told their florist they were after floral arrangements with a soft, formal look in shades of white and green, and she took it from there. —Meghan Overdeep
