An Intimate, Vibrant Wedding at Capriotti's Palazzo in McAdoo, Pennsylvania

Heather Lauricella (26 and a teacher) and Nicholas Gaughan (28 and an electrician) first met when Heather's friend suggested that they go to prom together. At prom, Nick asked Heather out on the dance floor, and the two have been together ever since. For their wedding, Heather and Nick wanted to be unique. They chose a vibrant color palette of purple and turquoise for their fun summer wedding, which took place at Capriotti's Palazzo in McAdoo, Pennsylvania. Their ceremony was held on the terrace, under a pergola draped in white and decorated with flower arrangements and white and purple roses. These roses, provided by Stephanie's Greens and Things, were also the main flowers in the bridal party's bouquets and in the reception's centerpieces. For the wedding, Nick wore an edgy white suit with a silver vest and tie. Heather wore a beautiful Kenneth Winston gown and her bridesmaids wore purple and turquoise dresses. At the reception, guests enjoyed dancing and delicious food, and the memorable night concluding with an amazing white wedding cake with a purple 3D cake flower by Pamkakes. "Everyone kept telling me how it felt more like an intimate gathering of friends than a wedding," says Heather. "The whole wedding was full of love."
