An Intimate Waterfront Wedding at a Private Residence in Jupiter, Florida

Surrounded by a small group of family and friends, Meredith Young (34 and a jewelry designer) and Christopher West (55 and a real estate investor) exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony at their Jupiter, Florida, home. The couple outfitted their backyard reception with a palette of pinks and black and white stripes along with glitzy gold accents. “The departure point for my color scheme was black and white stripes,” Meredith says. “I've been having a love affair with La Tavola linens since I was 27 and living in Atlanta.” From the table linens on their long banquet table to the bouquet ribbons and escort cards, Meredith incorporated black-and-white stripes. The tabletop decor took inspiration from the hues in Ethiopian opals, which the bride incorporated into her hairpiece and jewelry. “From hot pink and peach to pale baby pink, the table featured different shades.” Meredith hand Christopher transformed their back deck into a tented reception by covering their pool with a plexiglass dance floor that was illuminated from below. Bistro lights and candles created a romantic atmosphere for an intimate dinner with family and friends. After dinner, the banquet table was removed and the couple celebrated by dancing the night away. —Marissa Hermanson
