An Old Hollywood Winter Wedding at Omni Mt. Washington Hotel inBretton Woods, New Hampshire

As a wedding photographer, Peter Clayman (45 and a photographer) has shot hundreds of nuptials, so when it came time to plan his wedding to Holly Smith (38 and a director of social media), the pair wanted something different for their winter celebration.  The couple chose the Omni Mt. Washington Hotel for it's historic atmosphere and decorated with a pale pink, gold and navy blue color palette. "I was looking for a traditional-yet-vintage venue that also had beautiful outdoor scenery for pictures," says Holly. The bride complemented her off-white lace Allure gown with a vintage stole to keep her warm for her winter weeding and carried a lush bouquet of white anemones and pink peonies. The couple exchanged custom vows in front of a fireplace during their winter ceremony, surrounded by their five children, family and friends. "Because we are a blended family, it was important for us to include our children in the ceremony," says Holly. "We had a unity sand ceremony and only had our children in our wedding party." As escort cards and favors, the newlyweds greeted guests individual bottles of champagne with tags that incorporated their pink and gold theme. The ballroom reception was decorated to evoke an old Hollywood glamour with ivory and gold place settings along with pink arrangements in glitzy vases. "The mountains and snow made for a great backdrop," says Holly. "We were able to enjoy and get some pictures with the snow falling by a fire pit!"
