The Bride Natalie Petric, 32, an attorney The Groom James Whalen, 32, also an attorney The Date July 24 Inspired by Natalie’s classic, old Hollywood–style gown, the couple planned a wedding with the same look.

Natalie loved having their seats designated with “bride” and “groom” signs.
The girls wore blue dresses of varying necklines while the guys coordinated in black tuxes and bow ties.
The sand-colored linens were a neutral backdrop for the coral menu font.
The square programs also doubled as fans for guests.
Each table card included a fun fact about the couple.
Tall vases filled with blue delphiniums added height to the tables, and alternating blooms with crystal globes was an elegant touch.
Natalie always wanted to get married under a canopy, so the couple wed beneath a trellis of greenery, and white and coral roses.
Each layer had a thin green band, coral flourishes and fresh flowers, all tying together the colors from the bouquets.
Swaths of fabric hung from the tent’s ceiling for a romantic look, and greens added to wood chandeliers created drama.
Bright coral rose petals lined the grassy aisle.
The couple danced to “You Got It” by Roy Orbison, a song they felt would set a fun mood for the night.
So they wouldn’t blow away in the wind, the cards were pinned to a board covered by dark blue linen.
