The Bride Danielle Panno, 32, an art director at Mada Design, Inc., a graphic design firm in New York City The Groom Andrew Mayer, 39, also an art director at Mada Design, Inc. The Date June 13 Both big fans of reading, Danielle and Andrew picked a literary theme and dressed it up with old-world charm. They used ivory, dusty pink, antique teal and cool gray to pull the day’s look together.

Danielle and Andrew designed the invitations themselves using vintage French signs as inspiration.
Danielle saw her gown in a shop window and knew right away it was her dream dress. She added fuchsia heels for a pop of color.
Andrew’s boutonniere was a mini cluster of anemones and rolled pages of a novel.
The three-tiered cake was Danielle and Andrew’s favorite flavor -- tiramisu.
Flowers were placed in tins that Andrew decoupaged with aged paper. Paper-covered books brought in the literary theme.
The couple let guests get creative with the sign-in book, instructing them to sign, scribble, doodle or draw with the crayons and markers provided.
The Manor’s ballroom has an old-world feel, which worked with the dusty pink linens, floral-patterned china and overall theme.
To go with the literary theme, the couple named tables after famous authors.
Guests were given copies of the novel Stranger in a Strange Land to take home.
Table assignments were written on bookmarks, which were organized in wooden boxes similar to card catalog drawers.
The outdoor garden was the reason Danielle and Andrew picked The Manor.
Danielle’s bouquet was wrapped with twine and accented with a rustic brooch to finish the look.
