An Ultra-Local Vintage Wedding at the Bachelor Farmer in Minneapolis, Minnesota
Everything—from the stunning florals to the reception dinner—was locally sourced for this community-friendly soiree. Danielle Haselby (29 and a physician) and Christian Sanchez (30 and a pharmacist) wanted to support local businesses for their nuptials and made sure all the details were purchased from around town. We absolutely love Danielle’s vintage wedding dress, which was an awesome find at Andrea's Vintage Bridal. “It was a 1960s hand-beaded evening gown,” Danielle says. “The dress was silk crepe and the beading was in the shape of sunbursts in an orange-gold color. I wanted a unique dress and also wanted to be able to support local business. The dress very much fit my personality.” Even though Danielle and Christian opted for an intimate ceremony at the courthouse, it was very special and they still wanted to feel like a bride and groom. Martha’s Gardens created a gorgeous, textured bouquet for Danielle to hold during their vows for a little tradition. “She did a fantastic job finding pale pink peonies for my bouquet,” Danielle says. “The bouquet smelled wonderfully like spring during the Minnesota winter.” Loving the delicious food at the Bachelor Farmer in Minneapolis, Minnesota, they chose it for the backdrop of their 30-guest reception. With its natural hardwood floors, brick walls and simple table settings, they didn’t even need to add decorations to the room. One of our favorite details were the homemade carrot cakes by Danielle’s mother. The Bundt cakes were decorated with buttercream rosettes that were perfectly romantic and delicious. There are so many details we love—see them all, beautifully captured by Meg Cooper Photography, below.
