Beautiful Mountaintop Boulder Wedding

Less is more for Sarah Black (27 and a pediatric resident physician) and Martin Kohn (29 and a senior planning analyst), who brought a minimalist attitude to their wedding design. “I wanted to keep it simple and elegant,” Sarah says. “Our only ceremony décor was the mountain backdrop.” The couple instructed guests to dress “mountain casual” for the Jewish-Irish fusion vows. Sarah painted and decoupaged each escort card and turned the pieces into an installation-style display, the focal point of the reception. 
A reception at the Rembrandt Yard art gallery meant Sarah, Martin and their guests ate dinner surrounded by masterpieces.
