Blue and Silver Set the Tone for This Elegant O’Donnell House Wedding in Sumter, South Carolina

"Simple elegance" inspired Meghan and Daquan as they were planning their wedding at O’Donnell House in Sumter, South Carolina. "My wedding was everything I envisioned it to be. We got married at an old southern house with so much charm and beauty. We went with timeless decor in blush, dusty blue, and light grey," Meghan recalls. To achieve the elegant, yet refined, aesthetic the couple had in mind, they focused on, "flowers, flowers, and more flowers. My bridesmaids and I each had a beautiful bouquet of flowers. All of the groomsman had flowers on their lapels and our parents and grandparents had florals on their outfits as well. The centerpieces were also floral arrangements of white and beautiful greenery. I also had this awesome arc built for the ceremony which was stunning in photos. Flowers just made everything that much more beautiful." To complement that floral-centric décor, the couple threaded in gold accents—gilded Chiavari chairs and gold-rimmed chargers welcomed guests when they sat down at the reception. After dinner, a DJ spun tunes to keep the party going all evening.
