Robert and Lindsay met at work, when Lindsay began a stint as a gemologist at one of Robert’s Provident Jewelry stores. After a few years of friendship, the pair started dating; it wasn’t long before Robert popped the question. “We went to the Bahamas with some of our closest friends over the Fourth of July weekend. He proposed at dinner on our anniversary with everyone around us,” Lindsay says. “He stood up and toasted our great friends, then got down on one knee and proposed. He totally surprised me—I was speechless.”
