A Rustic Farm Wedding at The Little Farm in Westmore, Vermont

The first time Dayna Cole (31 and an assistant director) and Brad Drake (34 and works in renewable energy) was on a gorgeous summer night at The Parker Pie Co. Dayna had just finished her shift, and Brad was waiting around to see if he could talk to the girl who caught his eye a few weeks earlier. One gaze across the room led to shy conversation, which led to a warm evening with friends and and an impromptu jam session complete with belted blues lines and many more shared looks. Dayna and Brad went on their first date shortly after. Their wedding ceremony and celebrations took place at “The Little Farm” in and around the old barn Dayna’s grandfather originally built for his first family farm. The barn was renovated for the wedding by Dayna’s father and the groom, among others, creating a more personal connection to the spot overlooking Lake Willoughby. The “pretty vintage” wedding style reflected the rustic farm venue, and included lots of DIY details to add to the romance. “The fact that we worked so hard with our family and friends to get the barn renovated for the wedding reflected on who we are as a couple,” says Dayna.
