Desert-Inspired Peach-and-Sage Hues Set the Tone at This Four Seasons Scottsdale Wedding in Arizona
Drawing upon the dusty peach and sage hues seen in the surrounding desert, Fatima and Eric planned a beautiful wedding celebration at the Four Seasons in Scottsdale, Arizona, that both celebrated their love story and also seamlessly complemented the locale. The couple's Arizona wedding day had it all—a succulent-filled bouquet, metallic stationery, a pup dressed in a tux, custom wood escort cards, multiple neon signs and an epic fireworks display that lit up the night sky. "Since we were getting married in Scottsdale, Arizona, around sunset time, I wanted the color scheme to match that: dusty rose, pale pink, terracotta and sage," explains Fatima of the inspiration for her and Eric's wedding at the Four Seasons.
In addition to planning a day that visually complemented the surrounding desert landscape, it was important to Fatima and Eric that their wedding also be a true reflection of their partnership and what matters most to them. "I'm Filipina and wanted to incorporate some cultural traditions such as coin exchange, veil ceremony and cord ceremony," shares Fatima. She goes on to explain that the couple had "a beer burro during cocktail hour while a string quintet played in the background. Furthermore, we had fireworks right after the cocktail hour (that was definitely the highlight of our wedding!). I love to dance and wanted to incorporate something new that I experienced on a cruise: silent disco! There were 2-3 stations the guests could choose from and dance all night!" Looking back on the wedding day, Fatima shares that "of course marrying my best was the highlight of our wedding, but there were definitely some other moments that stood out! One of the special moments was the first look with my dad. I don't know where I would be without him so I wanted to share that with him."
