A Glam, Traditional Wedding at Boston Public Library in Boston, Massachusetts

After dating for four years, Gregory Rothman (29, portfolio manager at Endeavor Miami) proposed to Lindsay "Lu" Shapiro (30, a sales account executive at Flatiron Media) on the water in Brookyln Bridge Park while they were enjoying ice cream from their favorite shop. "I don’t know exactly what I said because I was so nervous," recalls Greg. "Lu heaved her ice cream as I got on my knee, and started crying hysterically. What seemed like an eternity was probably more like 30 seconds, but I had to remind her to answer because my knee was now bleeding from the rocks on the beach." The best part? Greg hired a photographer to capture the entire thing on film. After considering getting married in Brooklyn, they ultimately decided to host their nuptials at Boston Public Library, so Lu's grandmother could attend. To highlight their stunning historic venue, Lu and Greg worked with their florist to amplify, not overpower their surroundings. Mirrored elements, oversized blooms and glam color palette of white and silver with pops of pink brought it all together. The result was a luxe affair that expertly walked the line between modern and traditional.
