Intimate Hardy Farm Wedding Venue

Though based in New York, Emily and John whisked guests off to Maine’s quaint countryside for a rustic, destination affair. Hardy Farm in Fryeburg provided a beautiful backdrop for the day with its charming, historic home, restored barn and acres of lush, natural scenery. “I grew up in western Massachusetts, so the rolling fields and forests felt like home,” says Emily. The venue also offered a blank slate for the couple to make their own, which went over big with the creative pair, as well as an adjoining lodge where the wedding party was able to stay over the weekend. “We were able to turn the whole weekend into a fun celebration,” says Emily. “After the dancing at the reception petered out, we lit a fire in the fire pit and finished off the wine and beer outside. It was the perfect end to the day.”
