Mint Beach-Inspired Wedding Cake
After a sit-down dinner of mushroom, cipollini onion and goat cheese tartlets and a duo of filet mignon and jumbo lump crab cakes, Lisa and Lee treated guests to a slice of decadent red velvet wedding cake. The three-tier square confection was decorated with mint buttercream frosting, seashells and driftwood accents for a beachy feel, while the groom’s cake, a one-tier number, featured the US Marine Corps emblem. Following military tradition, the couple cut the Marine Corps cake with Lee’s Marine officer's sword.
