Quaint Country Markets Inspired This Peach-and-Blue Pennsylvania Wedding

Danielle Marullo (29 and a chef) and Daniel "Dan" Sepsy (29 and a landscape architect) have always dreamed of owning a general store, so when the time came to say "I do," the pair gave friends and family a glimpse into their future. After swapping vows during the full Catholic Mass, the couple sped away in a burnt orange 1960s MG MGA convertible with a “Just Married” sign draped across the back of the vehicle. During cocktail hour, guests filled "Sepsy General Store" canvas bags with goodies like chocolate covered pretzels and homemade scones from the bride's catering company. "The popup shop was a unique decoration and a 'wow' moment for guests," the couple says. At the replica of the couple’s dream general store, guests even "shopped" for honey that the groom’s brother harvested. 

Afterward, guests headed over to the botanical reception, an ode to the couple's culinary and landscaping careers. Danielle working in the food and event planning industries and Dan in landscaping, the duo wanted to decorate their venue in bright florals, vivacious greens and seasonal fruit. Clusters of ferns, strawberry plants, moss, peonies, peaches and pomegranates stood at the center of each reception table. A combination of long, rectangular farm tables and round tables wrapped in sage linens and lined with antique brass candlesticks dotted the reception room. “Going along with our botanical theme, we wanted flowers, greenery and fruits in our decor,” the couple says. For dessert, the couple served a four-tier cake decorated with ornate flowers and hand-painted plants. Guests had a choice of chocolate cake with peanut butter mousse or honey lavender cake with cream cheese buttercream filling.
