A Fresh and Romantic Wedding at the Appleford Estate in Villanova, Pennsylvania

Lisa Reindl, 28, a brand manager at American Eagle Outfitters corporate, and Andy Zahn, 28, a product manager for Eaton Corporation, met in an elevator at the building they worked at in New York City. They bumped into each other until they had their first date that led to four years of dating. Andy popped the question after finding out his job was relocating him to the Pittsburgh area and they began their search for the perfect venue, which they would discover was the Appleford Estate in Villanova, Pennsylvania. "Appleford was the last venue we visited and it was an immediate fit," Lisa says. "Not only are the grounds and tended terrace gorgeous, timeless and serene, but the interior of the house is beautiful and classic." The wedding day theme and color inspiration came from a Cognac Jacquet peacock poster that hung in the couple's first apartment. Lisa described the poster as a "late summer soiree happening at the Gatsby Estate" that they wanted to incorporate into their orange, yellow and red palette with accents of peacock hues. The couple teamed up with La Petite Fleur and made their dream wedding come true with vibrantly decorated centerpieces, flower clusters added to the wedding cake and a touch of color everywhere guests looked. "As everyone who has gotten married before you will say, the day goes by so quickly," Lisa says. "But Andy and I couldn’t stop smiling after and are grateful for the beautiful memories we made and keep reliving."
