Rustic Elegant Ryland Inn Wedding
Emily Robinson (27 and an elementary school teacher) and Jason Meland (27 and a foreign language curriculum coordinator at a charter school) evoked a welcoming feeling with bright, colorful hues and seasonal wildflowers.
Emily wore the same veil and single pearl necklace her mother wore for her wedding 35 years earlier. “It was so meaningful to me to get to wear pieces of my family’s history on my wedding day,” she says.
Emily carried a colorful array of sunflowers, dahlias, poppies, wheat, Queen Anne’s lace, cornflowers, astilbe, orange gomphrena, and white tansy.
Emily customized her strapless, A-line gown by adding cap sleeves.
Emily allowed her nine bridesmaids to choose their own dress style in the same yellow hue. “We really wanted our wedding to be filled with bright, happy colors inspired by wildflowers,” she says of her decision to dress her attendants in the sunny shade. “Plus, it really made their wildflower bouquets pop!”
