n Cotton-filled arrangements, antler accents and homemade pecan pie all made for a rustic, one-of-a-kind affair. “We both fell in love with the barn’s remote location,” Jessie Querin (26 and a veterinary student) says. She tied the knot with Mike Bolster (26 and a US Army officer) in an Episcopalian ceremony outdoors. “Mike and I enjoy the countryside, and the venue had everything we wanted, including the ability to house our guests on-site,” Jessie says. As a nod to Jessie’s veterinary studies and their location, gold animal figurines acted as escort cards, and reception tables were named after various livestock. “We didn’t need much decoration,” Jessie says of filling the barn with burlap linens, gold glass centerpieces and cotton harvested from an Alabama farm.
