Chloe Bootstaylor (and attorney) and Jeremey Key (a software developer) initially planned to celebrate with a large Atlanta wedding. However, when the COVID-19 pandemic hit, the couple decided to shift their plans and instead host an intimate backyard celebration with only their immediate families in attendance. "Given that we were still in the midst of the pandemic, our wedding was to serve as an enchanted escape for us to be surround by our beloved family. We were living in Brooklyn, NY, the epicenter of COVID-19 at the time, so as you can imagine we were adjusting to quarantine life while revisiting our priorities. So when we decided to still get married on our special day, we stressed to our parents that if the universe is willing to be accommodating for our special ceremony then that should be enough!" the couple shares.

When it came to fashion for their backyard minimony in Atlanta, Chloe donned a stylish and unique orange tea-length dress. "We decided to get married two weeks before our original date, May 23, 2020! I literally went for my first dress fitting a week before the country shutdown, so I had to find another dress for our special day. I just wanted to wear something that made me feel comfortable with a refreshing color. I rented my earrings from rent the runway and purchased shoes from my fav, Sam Edelman. I did my own hair and makeup for the big day! Jeremey had ordered a custom suit, which he was still in doing fittings for when pandemic hit, so he wore one of his favorite blazers on our special day," Chloe recalls.

Chloe's vibrant orange dress ended up inspiring much of the wedding's décor. "My mom coordinated with all the vendors. I just told her the color of my dress and Fabulous Fox Designs took the decorating from there! The ceremony took place in my parents' backyard and the decorations made it look magical. I loved leaving all the decision making up to the vendors given that they only had a couple weeks to get everything together."
