The Lake Around Cypress Grove Estate House in Orlando, Florida, Served as This Wedding's Backdrop

Wanda Trott and Chè Michael Murray live in Bermuda, but when it came time to select a destination for their wedding, Orlando, Florida, was just what they wanted. Given that they were planning from a ways away, they leaned heavily on their vendor team to bring the wedding together. "I shared ideas with Oniki and she just did her thing!! I had the final say but I appreciated how it didn’t resemble any of her other weddings. She listened and provided something personal for ME!" In addition to relying on their vendor team, the couple made a few trips to the United States during the planning process to tie up loose ends. On one such trip, the couple traveled to Florida for a catering tasting and selected a menu that was the perfect balance of the two of them. "My fiancé has a sweet tooth and I have a savory tooth so for our favors we decided on a candy bar and popcorn station. Also, his family loves ice cream and the caterers offered an ice cream station were it was made right in front of you. So we had to get that! Got to have ice cream with cake, right?!" Wanda also made a trip to New York to purchase her wedding gown. After scouring Pinterest for ideas, Wanda knew that, "when I went to NY to shop for a dress I knew I had to be wowed (and stay within my budget!) All I knew is that I wanted SPARKLE! I had fun trying on all sorts of styles and one style I was certain I would love, I didn’t like it on me. I love my fiancé in a well tailored suit and he decided to get a tuxedo custom made so that was fun choosing fabrics and details for that. So even tho it was a grey tux, the lining was colorful and we designed it together. It was a moment I won’t forget." In the end all the travel paid off when the twosome welcomed 130 of their loved ones to Florida for their lakeside celebration.
