This Couple Got Tattoos During Their Bohemian Canadian Wedding in Roseneath, Ontario
Hannah and Mark's wanted their wedding to embody their love, vision, the Bampot House of Tea and their bohemian spirit. Not only was the wedding's boho aesthetic visually enticing, but it was also packed with meaning as well. Notably, Hannah's purple dress was chosen as a nod to her amethyst birthstone and the wedding dress's gold detailing mimiced the patterns of her tattoos. Similarly, Mark's suit was inspired by his citrine birthstone and also had custom embroidery with the same designs as Hannah's tattoos. To complement their attire, the couple donned custom-made jewelry made of amertrine, a stone that is created when citrine and amethyst meet, as a celebration of the couple's union.
In keeping with the focus on sentimental meaning, Hannah and Mark wed on August 8th at 8:00pm to symbolize the infinite nature of their love and union. Since Mark is Scottish the couple chose to include a traditional handfasting ritual in their evening wedding ceremony in Roseneath, Ontario, Canada. Hannah's tattoos played a large part in the inspiration for the wedding so it was only fitting that the couple chose to actually get tattoos during the wedding. Hannah's tattoo artist set up a station at the wedding reception and tattooed the couple's wedding rings on. As for the design, the couple settled on a Celtic infinity knot.
