This Sentimental Couple Built Their Own Wedding Venue in Springfield, Ohio
Jordan Stacy and James Coyne's wedding spoke to their sentimentality and deep love for friends and family. So much so that they their wedding took place on, "the bride's beloved late grandmother's land," shares their planner. "It was an emotional day for a family that invested months of grueling work into building a venue from the ground up, and nearly didn't make the deadline for the wedding day! All hands were on deck the week of the event to pull together the final details, from landscaping to woodwork and more. With a few quick fixes pulled together in a pinch, including restroom trailer rentals, temporary wall coverings, and a few drapery panels, the day came together like a dream."
Beyond a unique venue, the couple also chose to make their wedding ceremony their own. "Instead of a traditional aisle, our guests lined the walkway out of the venue and became our aisle. It was such an emotionally impactful visual for me to see all of our family and friends supporting me on both sides, with my husband waiting at the end. From there, our guests took their seats in the 360-degree ceremony space between our two maple trees, literally and figuratively surrounding us with love. The theme for our wedding day was modern simplicity meets natural beauty. We used a white and black color palette to accent the venue with hints of acrylic, gold, and greenery," Jordan shares.
