Morena and Aaron first met in 2011 as coworkers at Abercrombie & Fitch. Back then, they were just two people on different paths, exchanging the occasional nod in the breakroom but never spending much time together. Over the years, they found themselves at the same gatherings with mutual friends, always familiar but never truly connected.

That changed one evening at a private birthday dinner. Seated at the same table, they struck up a conversation that flowed effortlessly. They caught up on life, shared stories, and realized just how much they had in common—including the fact that they both lived in Richmond. What started as small talk quickly became something more meaningful, and from that night on, their dynamic shifted.

A few weeks later, Aaron saw Morena in the café at work and invited her to sit with him at lunch. What he expected to be a simple meal turned into a conversation filled with laughter and easy chemistry. Intrigued by Morena and curious to see what this may be, he suggested they check out a dessert spot called Shyndigz later that week. That one outing led to another, then another—until it became clear that something special was taking shape.
