As many of you know, the way we met was a little unconventional… we met online! We messaged each other on Hinge and now we look back and laugh at the messages we exchanged.

Our first date was at BJ’s. Yes, we probably should have picked a restaurant with a better name for our first date. LOL! We then went and saw Batman at midnight in the most uncomfortable chairs and watched someone bring a veggie tray as a snack for the movie. We had the best night getting to know each other and sneakily holding hands halfway through the movie.

Our second date was at a trail next to Lewisville Lake. Garrett packed us turkey sandwiches and cheezits, and we ate them at a picnic table in the middle of the woods while playing Uno and getting to know each other. A herd of deer ran right past us and we two stepped in the parking lot until the park ranger drove by. We stayed at the park a few minutes after closing on accident and got locked in.... I had to get out of my car and jailbreak the car gate to get us out... oops!! We both remember this date as being one of our favorites.

Since then, we have had countless dates, several family trips and endless happy memories. We are so excited to start our next chapter!!!
