Like many modern couples, we first matched on a dating app. When we saw each other’s profiles, we couldn’t shake the feeling that we looked familiar... and we were right! We had actually met before through work, but it wasn’t until that match that our real story began.

We texted for a week and a half or so before he asked me out for coffee. That first coffee turned into a few more dates while he was home, and we quickly realized we enjoyed spending time together.

About a month in, I asked the classic “what are we doing?” question and let him know I wasn’t here to waste time. We made things official—and we’ve been together ever since.

A year later, he proposed during a trip to Hocking Hills. We couldn’t imagine a more meaningful place to say “yes.” We’re so excited to return there later this year—this time, to say “I do” and celebrate with the people we love.
