Alex and Josh met Fall of 2018 at Texas Tech. Quickly becoming best friends, always trying to find ways to hang out or see each other. After six months of being best friends, Josh came over to Alex's dorm on April 29, 2019 and they shared that they both liked each other more than friends. On their first date, May 10, 2019 Josh asked Alex to officially be his girlfriend. Through the next six years, Alex graduated from Texas Tech, they moved to Tennessee, Josh started a new job while Alex started and graduated from nursing school, started her first job, and they both remained passionate about volleyball in the meantime. On, April 26, 2025, Josh proposed to Alex in Nashville, TN. (spoiler, she said yes) Now they cannot wait to get married and start new adventures as husband and wife. <3
