They met at a local bar, with drinks you can't pronounce and the ombience to match. Ordering whatever had the weirdest name. Talking all night, about every subject you can and can't imagine. Any time there wasn't talking, it was just laughing or people watching. Best friends from day one. With that spark never leaving.

August 11th, 2023

Prothero summer vacation, Oak Island, NC. Imagine Jared caught in the middle of the loudest family, just trying to stay afloat. The whole family whispering about the upcoming engagement, with a surprisingly clueless Allison. During planned family photos under the pier, Jared got down on one knee and popped the question in front of everyone, including a camera, with cheesy smiles all around and an ugly crying face from Allison. Allison's dream proposal.

Living in Browns Summit, NC together, having entirely too many fur kids who need attention at all times, and are given it. Kitten foster parents, since Allie can't say no to the shelter(Jared loves it). They have amazing people in their lives, enjoying horror movie nights, neighbor nights and family time. They enjoy nights at home, deep in conversation, dancing in the kitchen or watching some Korean show. Allie and Jared love traveling to new places, going out to fancy dinners and random wineries, and taking plenty of trips to Busch Gardens. The house always has little love notes in random places and vases filled with beautiful flowers that are brought home by Jared every week. Self-realization, mental health, faith and healing have become a huge staple in their relationship. With the same future aspirations and desires.. and terrible humor.. it has been nothing short of a fairytale.
