We met during our sophomore year of college at Florida Atlantic University.

We graduated college with our Bachelors degrees and Will moved to Virginia Beach to work for the Navy while Amanda stayed at FAU to complete her Masters.

We started dating in April of 2019 and decided to do long distance.

There were very many trips up to Virginia Beach while Amanda was pursuing her Masters degree.

COVID made long distance difficult without being able to see each other so there were many facetime dates.

Amanda moved to Virginia Beach in June of 2021 before graduating with her Masters from FAU.

Will proposed on a Saturday after convincing Amanda that he wanted to go fishing on one of the local beaches.
