Wedding Party

Sydney Wilkerson

Kennedy & I officially met in 6th grade and she has undoubtedly & consistently been my best friend and other half since the very moment we met. I can’t pin point exactly what it was about her presence or our dynamic together but I have always known that it was and forever will be unbeatable. From playing sports, traveling, living, and working together… inseparable doesn’t even scratch the surface! We’ve been told that we are attached at the hip and I can’t think of a better person to have right by my side or feel more honored to call her my other half. She is the sister that I never had but always needed. I am forever thankful for who she is, her heart, and the person she’s made me. We’ve been through nearly every stage of life together and now I get the privilege of standing by her side on her wedding day and in this life.

Claire Meier

Kennedy & I have been by each other’s sides for almost 24 years as built in best friends/cousins. She has been a constant in my life forever & supports me in everything I do! She is the biggest cheerleader & my go to girl for everything- I know she will always be in my corner giving me the advice I need to hear. Growing up we spent every day together since we lived so close. We spent our summers riding our bikes, swimming at the Trafton’s pool, doing each other’s hair & makeup (Kennedy doing mine more so than me doing hers haha), and picking out our matching back to school outfits at Justice & LimitedToo every single year.

Being there every step of each other’s lives has been such a blessing and I can’t believe this season of our lives is finally here- we’ve been dreaming of this time forever. I am so excited stand by your side as you marry the love of your life!

Mackenzie Herman

Hello! I’m Mackenzie - Andrew’s older sister.

While growing up with Andrew was quite an adventure, watching him grow into the person he is today has been an incredible journey. Seeing Andrew find the one person he wants to spend the rest of his life with has been a true joy; Kennedy compliments him perfectly and has brought a new depth of happiness and fulfillment to his life.

Without a doubt, Kennedy quickly became the sister I never had (but always secretly wanted), and it has been such a blessing growing so incredibly close to her over the past couple of years. Her grace and genuine soul quickly made her a cherished and invaluable part of our family.

I knew she was the one for Andrew the second I realized how quickly she can put him in his place. Hearing Kennedy fight back when Andrew is being stubborn and how she doesn’t take any of his nonsense, all while still loving him and making him a better person not only makes her the perfect match for him, but it also makes her a saint.

Andrew & Kennedy - I wish you two nothing but fun adventures, lifelong memories, and treasured moments as you enter this next & best chapter.

Much love 🤍

Savannah Mundy

I cant pinpoint the exact moment I met Kennedy because she has been a core pillar in my life for as long as I can remember. I can still see us sweating on the volleyball court, making up dances in my childhood living room, and eating way too much food at Jaliscos. Even now, with our adult lives leading us in different directions, kennedy is always there when I need her. She’s loyal and knows what it takes to be a best friend. Ken is a firecracker in that she’s authentic and not afraid to speak her mind - something I admire so much about her - but she’s also one of the goofiest people you will ever meet if you’re lucky enough to get to see that side of her. From the beginning, Andrew was always able to make her light up like a Christmas tree. Thats how I knew he was the right one for her. He can also fly her to me at the drop of a hat so that’s always a plus. I am genuinely so happy kennedy was able to find a love so pure and I cannot wait to stand up next to these two as they begin their lives as Mr and Mrs Cross.

Megan Kain

I’m so excited to be a part of Kennedy and Andrew’s wedding! I’m Megan Kain and I’ve known Kennedy since she was 8 years old. Her dad and my dad were coaches for the castle basketball team and that’s how we became so close together because we spent so time in the gym together. She is like an older sister to me and I’ve looked up to her my whole life. We have so many fun memories together but one of my favorite memories is playing volleyball in the living room. We didn’t get much of a rally because Kennedy would constantly have to tell me, “Megan calm down” because I would use my whole body to bump the ball and it would hit the ceiling. Thankfully Kennedy finally got me out of my tomboy stage! She always was there to do my hair and makeup and help me pick out what to wear! Over the years, I have been thankful for the memories we have created taking vacations to Disney and the beach with my family, to rooting on the castle knights, just a lot of fun hanging out together. So excited for you, Kennedy and Andrew and I know that God will bless your marriage!

Nick Virden

What’s up everyone! My name is Nick and I am more than honored to be Andrew’s Best Man on his special day!

Andrew and I have known each other for almost our entire lives. And while things change, people move and life happens, Andrew and I remain as close of friends that can be through it all. Andrew and I actually met in elementary school and got to know each other then but started to become close as we started navigating high school together. Through pranks on each other and others, to trying to hit each other with the funniest one liners we can think of , and supporting each other through life in general we share a bond that is as strong as can be. Kennedy being the only reason we aren’t still #1 Best Friends on Snapchat (and that took some time).

Although Kennedy and I haven’t known each quite as long, our relationship grew quickly. While we knew of each other in high school, it wasn’t until college that we started to get close. And as Andrew and Kennedy began their relationship I started to get the opportunity to know Kennedy on a deeper level. From good times in Bloomington, coffee at Parlor Doughnuts, and even a Bachelor watch party, it didn’t take long to see how perfect Andrew and Kennedy were for each other.

To be a part of Andrew and Kennedy’s wedding day is incredibly special and a privilege I take great pride in. Being able to see them grow from “just friends” to now a married couple to be has been an amazing journey to witness. I can’t wait to stand next to Andrew when he marries the girl of his dreams. May 10th 2025 can’t come soon enough!

Drew Hart

Hey everyone, some people call me Richard a.k.a. Big Rich and others call me Drew! I am extremely honored to be Andrew’s Best Man on his and Kennedy’s big day.

Andrew and I have known each other dating all the way back to our grade school days at Good Shepherd. From that point on we would go as Big Drew and Little Drew. Whatever one did it felt like the other was right by their side ( unless it was basketball we had to get split up because we were too dominant). I would say it was around 6th grade when I realized Andrew and I couldn’t be friends anymore. We were brothers for life. It doesn’t matter what journey we are on, we will always be there for each other.

In middle school we would always play volleyball on the weekends with our friends and one particular weekend there were these 2 “castle” girls that were going to join. That was the first time I met Kennedy and let’s just say she didn’t want the smoke in volleyball. Over the years our friend group continued to hangout and fun fact Kennedy was indeed my senior year prom date.

Fast forward to now and it is evident just how much these two care for each other. Sorry Kennedy but if you are marrying Andrew you are also stuck with me!! I love you guys and am excited to celebrate you two just around the corner!

Ryan Long

Over the years, Andrew has become like the little brother I didn’t know I needed. One summer in college, I was teaching at a small flight school outside Evansville where he was training as a student. From day one, our friendship has been nothing short of smart ass remarks and constant joking. We had a blast together when he was my flight student at Purdue, going to football games, riding around talking about life while he drove as a Door Dasher, and now traveling to explore new places together after college. Our friendship has only gotten stronger post graduation and I can’t wait to stand next to him on the day he marries the woman of his dreams!

Jordan Herman

Hi everyone! My name is Jordan, and I’m Andrew’s favorite brother-in-law!

Andrew and I go way back to our college days, where we met through mutual friends. I always thought he was kind of a dork, but then I found out he had a hot sister, and I immediately knew we needed to be friends. Now he’s stuck with me forever!

And where do I begin with Kennedy? I still remember when we all went to Purdue for Andrew’s graduation, and there were only three tickets available. So, Kennedy and I hung out while his sister and parents went to the ceremony. Having not known each other very well, you can imagine how awkward this probably could have been. But Kennedy and I pushed through the ice-breaker conversations and turned it into a time to get to know each other a little bit better. Now we pick on each other like siblings!

I am so excited and incredibly proud to be a part of Andrew and Kennedy’s wedding day. They are truly family to me, and watching their love and relationship grow over the past several years has been a special experience. Mackenzie and I can’t wait to watch you guys grow even more as a couple and a team. And little Ellie will be so spoiled with the best “Aunt Kay-Kay” and “Funcle Drewbie”!

Luke Baumer

Hello everybody! I’m Luke Baumer — I met Andrew by happenstance through a mutual friend in the fall of 2019. It was through this common friend that we found the lease for an apartment to live in for the following school year. The lease needed 4 roommates, and we both trusted the mutual friend to vouch for the living conditions and tendencies of the other potential roommate. Fortunately, we both ended up signing the lease to live there. At one conversation more than a stranger, Andrew and I did not talk again until the summer of 2020 when we were both back at Purdue to finish the previous semester’s courses. The less than favorable schedule that Purdue gave us for that summer required us to be at the airport at various times of the day for several weeks. Living an hour from the university, Andrew offered for me to hang out at his summer apartment during the breaks between my flights throughout the day. It was that summer that we began to be friends and continued to grow our friendship throughout the year that we roomed together. Being a year older than me, Andrew always encountered the next benchmark in our careers before I did, which always ensured a thorough recounting of what to expect, how to prepare for my own, and a consistent “it’s really not that hard.” This has worked out wonderfully for me I must say. I was fortunate to meet Andrew through coincidence and am grateful for his continued friendship. It was evident very early on that Andrew and Kennedy were smitten, and it’s been a privilege to watch their relationship grow from evening FaceTimes to their soon to be celebrated union. I am very thankful for both and wish them all of the success that I know they’ll have throughout their lives!
