It all started in 2019.

Andrew and Veina hit it off at a Chinese New Year party hosted by their mutual friend, Mark. Veina played hard to get however and they didn't wind up seeing each other again until the next month on St. Patrick's Day. After this, they started to spend more and more time together. They messaged back and forth when Andrew was surfing in Bali and Veina was site seeing in Japan. They took a trip together that summer to Montreal for a music festival, and shucked 100 oysters with friends that New Years Eve.

Their relationship only grew stronger over the pandemic, and in Nov 2021, Andrew took Veina on a "date" to the Toronto Islands where he surprised her by proposing.

The couple is looking forward to celebrating their wedding on 20 August 2022 at Belcroft Estates.
