In the midst of exam preparation, the foundation of our love story was made. It all began with an early morning, as we both found ourselves at the exam venue early, nervously waiting to begin our statistics exam.

Before starting our exam, I caught a glimpse of Annabel on the other side of the hall. After spotting Annabel, I made an agreement with my mate that if she was there after the exam, that I would go over to her and start a conversation...

The exam unfolded, numbers and formulas swirling in the air, but Jonty's thoughts were anchored on the intriguing presence across the room. Post-exam, as the room began to empty, there she was – Annabel, the focal point of his thoughts and the key to an unwritten chapter in their lives.

True to his word, Jonty approached her, initiating a conversation that would echo through time. The initial awkwardness melted away, replaced by a connection that felt like the discovery of a long-lost friend. Little did they know that this simple conversation marked the beginning of a journey that would lead them to this moment – standing on the precipice of a lifetime commitment.
