Having you there for our special day is most important to us. However, we understand many of you may still want to give us a gift to commemorate our marriage and to start our life together. We will have a wishing well at our wedding for anyone who would like to contribute.
Are kids allowed at the wedding?
While we love your little ones, we kindly request a child-free wedding. Not only is the property potentially hazardous for children, we also want our nearest and dearest to let their hair down and enjoy the wedding and reception.
Can I bring a guest?
If the name of your guest is listed on your invitation, or you have a plus-one option listed when you RVSP, then yes! Otherwise, we will be keeping the wedding as intimate as possible with close family and friends.
Strict starting time
As the venue is on private property and requires gate access, all wedding guests must arrive by 2 PM AEST at the latest. If you are late, the gate will be closed, and you will be allowed in once the ceremony has concluded.
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
We are having an 'unplugged ceremony'. We kindly request for all phones and cameras to remain silenced and put away until the ceremony concludes. We have a wonderful photographer and videographer who will be capturing our wedding day, and we will be happy to share those photos and videos with you at a later date. During cocktail hour and the reception, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you like.
Parking
There will be event parking on the day. Please note that the wedding is on private property with a steep and windy gravel road. The road is suitable for all cars, but 4WDs are recommended. If you are not a confident driver, it would be best to carpool.
Camping / accomodation on-site
If you have a tent and/or caravan you are welcome to stay the night. Please note that you will need to set up before the wedding between 12 and 1:30 PM AEST in the designated camping area. Please note that toilets are provided without power or water.
What should I wear?
We would love to see our family and friends dress up with us. We are requesting semi-formal attire with the only requirement being that women avoid wearing bridal colours (white & ivory).
Please make sure to bring a jacket or jumper, as it will be chilly during the evening.
