Annaliese and Eric met as Freshman at Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School, and were a part of the same friend group for most of the year. Over the summer before their sophomore year, both of them struggled to express their feelings for each other. They finally got around to telling each other their feelings and ended up going on their first date together at Remington's in Thiensville. Both sets of parents were also there- two tables away. One week later, at Homecoming, Eric finally asked Annaliese to be his girlfriend. Over the years of high school, they enjoyed many plays and musical arts performances together, both on and off the stage.

After high school, both attended separate colleges, Annaliese at Marquette for Nursing and Eric at Concordia for Hospitality and Buisness Management. After 6 1/2 years of dating, Eric proposed on March 15th, 2024 at the same park they took homecoming pictures in Cedarburg. They cannot wait to celebrate this next chapter together with friends and family.
